Boone County Family Resources Board of Directors
Meetings are typically held the second Wednesday of the month (with the exception of July and December when meetings are not conducted), at the Boone County Family Resources (BCFR) office at 2700 W. Ash at 5:30 p.m. Eight member Board and one County Commissioner are authorized under Chapter 205 RSMo. The Board provides services to persons with developmental disabilities within Boone County. Members of this board also serve on the Board of Life and Work Connections, Inc., a Section 501(c)(3) corporation that provides vocational services to adults through a contractual agreement with BCFR. Persons interested in applying for membership on the BCFR Board must complete the standard board application form available on the County website or at the Commission Office. Applicants will then receive, and must complete a more detailed application form prior to interview by the County Commission.
