Boone County Absentee Ballot Application

IN-OFFICE ABSENTEE VOTING BEGINS SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION

If you are currently in Columbia you may apply for and vote an absentee ballot in-person in our office until 5:00 p.m. on the day before the election. Our office is in Room 236 of the Boone County Government Center (corner of 9th and Ash) in Columbia.

You may apply for an absentee ballot through the Elections Division of the Boone County Clerk’s Office.

All absentee ballots that are mailed by voters from within the U.S. must be voted in the presence of a Notary Public and returned to the Elections Office before the polls close on election day. Persons with disabilities do not have to have ballots notarized.

Knowing this, if you still need a ballot mailed to you select "Begin" to complete, print, sign and return the absentee application. If you are using a touch-enabled device you will be able to supply the required signature on the final page.
